It is peace of mind to the nth degree, and it's reserved for someone like you who is satisfied with only the finest. Covering more than 500 key components, including high-tech parts, this ESP also provides towing if your vehicle is inoperable. In addition, you'll receive rental car reimbursement if your vehicle is kept overnight for a warranty or covered repair. Is anything NOT covered? Advantages include:

  • Choice of $0, $50, $100, or $200 deductible
  • Up to $100 towing assistance
  • Rental car reimbursement
    • If your car is inoperable and must be kept overnight for a covered repair, you will be reimbursed up to 10 days at the rate of $28 per day for Ford and Mercury vehicles, and up to $35 per day for Lincolns.
    • Ford ESP rental reimbursement coverage begins on the date and mileage of contract purchase (not available in Hawaii).

    • Battery jumpstarts
    • Out of gas
    • Keys locked inside of car
  • Road hazard tire coverage
    • Repair or replacement of a tire that is punctured, bruised, or broken by a road hazard. Coverage period is limited to the term of the Ford Motor Company new vehicle limited warranty.
  • Travel expense reimbursement
    • Up to $500 for up to 3 days when breakdown occurs more than 100 miles from home. Reimbursements are for meals, lodging and rental vehicle expenses.
  • Destination assistance
    • Up to $75 for emergency transportation to an immediate destination by taxi, shuttle, or rental car.
  • Transferable
    • Remaining coverage can be transferred to a new owner if you sell the vehicle. This can add to the resale price of your vehicle!
  • Cancelable
    • Your plan can be canceled at any time and you will receive a refund of the unused portion.
  • Convenient payment plans
    • You may choose between a 5, 11, or 17-month payment plan, either by credit card or monthly billing. This option is administered by Budco, Inc., a Ford Motor Company affiliate.

All ESP coverage begins with the original in-service date (warranty start date) and zero miles.

ESP coverage expires upon reaching your selected time or mileage, whichever occurs first.

Mechanical – Service adjustments/cleaning; battery/cables; belts, hoses, brakes (front hub, drums, shoes, linings, disc rotors and pads); coolant; exhaust system (including catalytic converter); lights (bulbs, sealed beam and lenses); filters, fluids, lubricants; manual clutch disc; shock absorbers; spark plugs/wires; squeaks and rattles; tires; tune-ups; wheel balancing; wheel alignment; wheel studs; wiper blades.

Exterior – Service adjustments (glass and body parts); bright metal, bumpers, door handles, glass, moldings, ornamentation, paint, rust, sheet metal; sideview mirrors (glass/housing); water leaks; weatherstrip; wheel covers/ornaments; wind noise.

Interior – Buttons, carpet, dash pad, door and window handles, knobs; rearview mirror (glass/housing); trim, upholstery.
